I’m Perth born and raised with a Croatian/Italian and English upbringing which of course makes me an Aussie!
My family moved to the east for my father’s work in Melbourne in the early 90’s. We then returned home to our roots to continue my schooling and then furthered my education studying at ECU majoring in Accounting and Business Law and graduating in 2000. After completion of my degree, Accounting was the area I felt most suited my acumen so I went out and became a Certified Practicing Accountant in 2003.
The same year my other great achievement was marrying my significant other half, Siobhan. Whilst pursuing further credentials over the coming years (i.e. Registered Tax Agent, Chartered Tax Advisor, gaining a Diploma in Financial Services, etc.), Siobhan and I also had plans of expanding our family along the way. Today we have two children, Elliot and Lily and one four legged trouble maker, Whitlam the Cocker Spaniel.
From my image you can see I’m one of those lycra clad men in my spare time and love combining my passion for cycling with doing some good in the community participating in various charity rides.
My ethnicity hasn’t left me… I have a veggie patch and love tending to my garden and putting fresh food on the table for my family.
I consider myself an easy going, personable guy with a love of red wine, the West Coast Eagles (just lost 50% of you here in WA) and a loyal Western Force supporter.

I am the Director of Happiness and Creativity at Aspect, and hail from Freo and bleed purple.
My school days were spent at CBC in Freo and from there I decided to tackle University with an Accounting and International Business focus before graduating in 2000.
As much as I loved WA, I decided to take the plunge and spend some time in the Northern Territory where I worked for a “Big Four” accounting firm and enjoyed the NT lifestyle. But Perth was and always will be my home so I returned and worked as a tax manager for a mid-tier firm.
I became a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) in 2003 and Registered Tax Agent in 2004 and so was the commencement of Aspect Accountants and Advisors with my two great friends and colleagues, Matt and John.
I married my better half, Anne in 2007 and we have three wonderful young children, Alexander and Thomas and Samuel (our newest addition in 2016).
In 2009 I obtained my CPA public practice certificate and became a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2012 and also obtained my Diploma of Financial Services in 2012.
In 2016 I became an FCPA (Fellow of CPA Australia) after completing 15 years as a public accountant.
Amongst all that study and work I do ensure I have a work/life/family balance and when I’m not watching my beloved Dockers or Glory, I love getting out on the boat and throwing a line in. Bremer Bay is our destination of choice and we spend as much time as we can enjoying time there with our family and friends.
Travel is always high on the agenda and we’re regular jet setters to Europe and Asia but also love enjoying our own beautiful city, the good outdoors and the Perth laid-back lifestyle.

I was born in Kalgoorlie, but moved to the coast at a young age and was fortunately raised by the beach and open spaces of Sorrento. I went to the Anglican Community School of St Marks, where my homework came a distant last to footy, surfing, skate boarding and knocking about with my mates.
Like most 17 year olds I left school with not much of an idea of what I wanted to do so I tried my hand at several things, before deciding to pursue a business degree. I finally learnt how to do my homework and graduated in 2002 a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Business Law. Like my fellow directors, I chose the Accounting path and have been a tax agent since 2007. In 2012 I became a CTA and obtained my Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) in 2014.
Michael and I have previously worked together and maintained a friendship for over 10 years and this provided me with the opportunity to be a part of Aspect and I’m extremely fortunate to be in business with Michael and John. Along the way I have branched out into businesses in other industries with success and will continue to do so.
Sport has and still plays a significant role in my life. I played WAFL footy (battler) for East Perth and Subiaco and somehow managed to play in a league premiership with East Perth in 2001.
I’ve been surfing (battler) since I was 8 and I spend as much time in the water as possible. I’m also fortunate to be able to travel as much as I do and I like to get out and about in the music scene.
